Today’s Scripture readings: Psalm 119:49-72, Deuteronomy 9:13-21, Hebrews 3:12-19,John 2:23-3:15
Today’s writer: David Freels
“The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8 ESV)
Jesus seems to answer a question that Nicodemus has not even asked ….yet. “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Jesus gives the mystery of being born again an image. The Hebrew word for spirit is ruach, meaning breath or wind. We see the wind move things, we feel the wind, but we don’t see where it begins or ends and we don’t actually see the wind itself.
When I saw the picture above, I was captivated by the sheer curtains blowing. It was like I could actually see the wind coming through the window! God is stirring something new in me through art, and it is bringing me back to that place where my world meets mystery. It urges me to press deeper into the mystery of my rebirth in Christ.
During this season of self-examination, we may notice where God is moving in and through and around us. We may be awake to the signs of new birth through a discipline we’ve taken on, perhaps in a new idea, interest, project, or in relationships. We’ll have the opportunity to notice things that we find uncomfortable too, but that’s okay. God is answering questions that we haven’t even thought of yet.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts about knoxville moving company.

Hello! Quick question that’s entirely off topic. Do you know how to
make your site mobile friendly? My website looks weird when viewing
from my apple iphone. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to fix this issue.
If you have any suggestions, please share. Thank you!
First of all I would like to say superb blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask
if you do not mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself
and clear your mind before writing. I have had a tough time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.
I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted
just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or
tips? Many thanks!
I believe what you said was actually very logical.
But, consider this, what if you typed a catchier title?
I ain’t suggesting your information is not good., but what if you added something to possibly
get people’s attention? I mean February 20: Devotional Meditation | Apostles
Anglican Church is kinda boring. You could glance at Yahoo’s home page and see how they create
article titles to get people to click. You might try adding a
video or a related pic or two to grab people excited about what you’ve got to say.
Just my opinion, it would bring your posts a little livelier.
